  • Eddie Moore

    President

    Eddie brings a plethora of experience and a passion for excellence to the role of President at Ignite Fire Apparatus. With a career spanning over many years in the fire and emergency services industry, Eddie has established a reputation for strategic leadership, innovation, and customer-focused solutions. Eddie is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the organization, ensuring that Ignite remains at the forefront of the fire truck industry. He ensures this by leading a talented team of professionals in delivering cutting-edge fire truck solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

    Besides leading Ignite, Eddie has found exponential success in the turf grass industry, as the owner of Collins Wharf Sod Farm. His sod farm has provided turf grass solutions to clients such as the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, PGA courses and many other large clients and projects.

  • David Merritt

    Sales Manager

    David is a first generation Firefighter, he started with the Pittsville Volunteer Fire Department in 1981. He started as a cadet and worked his way up to holding numerous positions within the fire service. David was the second cardiac Rescue Technician and then became the first paramedic with the Pittsville Volunteer Fire Department. In 1990 he was hired by the City of Salisbury Fire Department and held the position of Firefighter/Paramedic, Information Technology Coordinator, Public Information Officer and was one of the original founding member of the Salisbury Special Operations Team. At the time of his retirement in 2008 he was promoted to Assistant Fire Lieutenant. In 2009 he joined the Fruitland Vol Fire Company and became the Senior Paramedic which he is assigned to A-shift. David resides in Princess Anne, MD with his wife and two daughters. David has been involved in the sales of emergency vehicles since 2001. He has a background in service before going to sales. He was hired by Charlie Black Potomac Fire Equipment. David has sold numerous vehicles in his sales history and currently is handling the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Eastern Shore of Virginia and the Tidewater area along with Sussex County Delaware

  • Josh Schrum

    Sales

    Josh oversees territory in Eastern and Tidewater Virginia. Areas covered by Josh include the counties of Essex, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, King George, King William, King & Queen, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Richmond, Surry, Westmoreland, and York. The cities of Chesapeake, Franklin, Newport News, Portsmouth, Poquoson, Suffolk, and Williamsburg. Josh is a career ALS/Firefighter.

    Technician

    Dylan’s role is to ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of fire apparatus used for emergency services. His position involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various components of emergency equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition. He offers service at our service center as well as mobile service.
